Praise be to Allah whom we thank for help and peace be upon Prophet Mohammad. in accordance with the bank's article of Association stipulating that the Fatwa board should present to the Board of Directors and to the General Assembly an annual report on the bank's activities and in coincidence with the issuance of the financial statement for the year ended December 31, 2001, we are pleased to present to you the fatwa board's report for the year 2001. The fatwa board has followed up and controlled the activities of the bank and the level abidance by Sharia and avoidance of any usury or doubtful transactions the Fatwa board confirms that all activities of the bank during the year 2001 have been in line with Sharia except a few applications that the management has been advised of and was instructed to avoid in the future. The Fatwa Board hereby expresses thanks for the bank's management for its efforts is carrying out all its duties skillfully.  Allah may help us to achieve prosperity and progress for our country and people alike.
